Thrifting Find....$1.38 at Goodwill. I found it paired with a metal lunch box on the internet for $450. It is for Sophie to use and enjoy during our sledding outings!

This is Sophie's new wall....which is a tree I had previously painted for Kennedy......who decided she wanted her room bright orange. I so missed the white tree. I am happy to have it back again, and Sophie is enjoying the new feel of her room.
I also snapped a picture of her nightstand...just because I think it looks sweet. Most everything in her room is a thrift find, and most are antiques. Her nightstand is actually an old end table.
As far as painting goes...yes I do like to change colors or ideas.....A LOT! Fortunately I get my paint from Habitat For Humanity Re-Store....this tan color, actually called Babies Breath, was a 10 gallon brand new bucket from Iowa Paint. I hardly used any of it to do her small room. Do I hear more repainting in the future? I think so.

Today I spent most of my time repainting Sophie's room. These are the before shots. I love the colors and fun shapes....and most especially....the flying little girl. But, her room is so small, and it sits at an angle off from the living room, so most of the time it feels like an extension of our living room. I grew tired of the beautiful blue wall....it began to bother me. I plan to paint a large, branchy white tree on the subtle tan shade I painted today. I will post the finished project soon. Yes....I am certain I will miss that flying little girl.
