An Unlucky Day For Glass.....

During the storm Saturday night, our outdoor table flew around, and the glass top shattered. There was glass everywhere on the pavement and in the grass. We spent the morning picking glass bits out of the lawn. Before we were finished with that task, one of the kids had started to open one of the NEW windows in the living room....but only unlatched the bottom latch.....the window was practically bent in half, and cracked.....it was a gruesome....unwelcome sound. The kids disappeared from the scene, and we found out that they were opening the window to talk to the birds. There was a brief, "How To Open A Window Properly" lesson.
